How it works

01

Pick your skin

Choose the skin, its condition and StatTrak™ if you want it, and paste your Steam trade URL. The price is locked when you create the order.

02

Pay with crypto

Send the exact amount to the address we show you. We detect the payment on the blockchain by ourselves.

03

Accept the trade

Once your payment confirms we send the skin to your Steam account with a trade offer. Accept it and it is yours.

Your Steam trade URL is a personal link that lets anyone send you a trade offer without being on your friends list. You find it in Steam under Inventory → Trade Offers → Who can send me Trade Offers?, in the section called “Third-Party Sites”. It looks like https://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/?partner=…&token=…, and it is the only thing you need to buy a skin on SoleBCN: no account, no registration, no Steam login.

Where to find the trade URL on PC (Steam client or browser)

The steps are the same in the desktop client and on steamcommunity.com in any browser, as long as you are signed in:

  1. Hover over your profile name in the top menu and click Inventory.
  2. Click the Trade Offers button on the right side of the inventory page.
  3. In the right-hand column, choose Who can send me Trade Offers?
  4. Scroll down to Third-Party Sites. Your trade URL appears in a text box.
  5. Click Copy (or select the full link and copy it manually).

Copy the whole link, including the part after token=. A link with only the partner number is incomplete, and offers sent to it will fail unless the sender is already your friend.

How to get it from the Steam mobile app

On a phone the menus are slightly different, but the link is identical:

  1. Open the Steam app and tap your avatar, then Inventory.
  2. Tap the three-dot or menu icon and choose Trade Offers.
  3. Open Who can send me Trade Offers? and scroll to the trade URL box.
  4. Long-press the link and copy it, or use the copy button if your app version shows one.

If a menu is missing in your version of the app, open steamcommunity.com in your mobile browser and follow the PC steps instead. It is also worth checking that you are signed in to the account that will actually receive the skin, especially if you use more than one.

What the parts of the link mean

PartExampleWhat it does
Base addresssteamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/Opens the Steam trade offer window
partnera numberIdentifies your Steam account
token8 letters and numbersLets people outside your friends list send you offers

Our checkout form checks that the link follows this exact format before it lets you place an order, so a typo or a profile link instead of a trade link is caught straight away.

Requirements so the trade arrives without delays

Having the link is half the job. Your account also has to be able to trade. Before you buy, check these points:

  • Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator. If it has not been active for at least 7 days, Steam can hold incoming trades for up to 15 days. Our guide on CS2 trade hold and trade protection explains this in detail.
  • Public inventory. Set your inventory privacy to Public under Edit Profile → Privacy Settings. It is recommended so trade offers work smoothly.
  • No recent security changes. Changing your password, recovering the account or logging in on a new device can trigger temporary trade restrictions.
  • Owning CS2. Your account should be able to hold CS2 items in its inventory.

Is it safe to share your trade URL?

Yes, within limits. The trade URL only allows someone to propose a trade. Nothing leaves your inventory unless you accept the offer and confirm it in the Steam app. It does not give access to your password, your email or your Steam Guard codes.

The real risks come from what you do with offers, not from the link itself:

  • Always read every offer before accepting: check which items you give and which you receive. When you buy a skin, you should be giving nothing.
  • Never log in to Steam through a link sent in chat. A legitimate store never needs your Steam password or your API key.
  • Ignore messages from “friends” or “Steam staff” asking you to confirm a trade urgently.

How to create a new trade URL

If you posted your link publicly and receive spam offers, or you simply want a fresh one, go back to the Third-Party Sites box and click Create new URL. Steam replaces the token, and the old link stops working instantly. Remember to use the new link for any pending purchase, because offers sent to the old one will fail.

Using your trade URL on SoleBCN

Once copied, the buying process is short. Pick a skin, for example from the AK-47 skins or the knives catalogue, choose the wear, paste your trade URL and pick a cryptocurrency. An email is optional. After the payment is confirmed on the blockchain we send a Steam trade offer to that link, which usually takes less than an hour. The full walk-through is in how to buy CS2 skins with crypto, and if you are paying with stablecoins, see buy CS2 skins with USDT.

FAQ

Can someone steal my skins with my trade URL?

No. The link only lets people send you an offer. Items move only when you accept and confirm the trade in the Steam app, so review each offer carefully.

Why does my trade URL not work?

Usually the token part is missing or outdated. Copy the full link again from the Third-Party Sites box, and if you created a new URL recently, use that one.

Do I need a Steam account login to buy on SoleBCN?

No. You never sign in with Steam on our site. You only paste your trade URL, and an email address is optional.
